Ding dong!  The old year is coming to an end and we all know what that means.

New Year’s resolutions will be in full swing. We all have that one thing that we have on the list, the desire to lose a bucket load of weight and end next year on a fit and healthy note.

But this never really happens. We end up going hard on the fitness train in the first two weeks and after that we lose the tenacity that we once started with.

This can be a bit of a downer but that doesn’t have to be the case this coming year.

Avoid Burnout with Your Fitness Efforts

To avoid burnout one has to consider their body and the pace they are used to.

We must have a realistic strategy when it comes to losing weight.

This self reflection must be done when you will start. And before you even look at that calendar make sure you have in place a fitness plan that you can stick to year round so that you know what needs to be done.

Add working out into your daily routine. Make it part of your day to day business and not something that you pick up every now and then.

Take time from your busy schedule of taking the kids to school, or cooking dinner for the family or slogging off to work.

Make the Time to Get Fit

Be sure to put aside time in your day that will be dedicated to ‘alone time’. To getting fit time. To looking good in your new fitness gear.
