When we don’t want to do something like getting back in shape, we come up with insanely creative excuses to dodge our part in it.

Truth is these excuses serve a simple role: to relieve some of the guilt we feel for not doing whatever we set out to do – like reaching our fitness resolution goals.

Ultimately though, the “baseless” excuses add up to disempower our lives –  including our goals of getting back in shape.

If you really want to achieve your dream fitness shape, you are better avoiding these excuses.

3 Common Excuses to Avoid

I don’t have time

Nice try!

You’re not the only one with kids, busy career, demanding spouse or a billion other things on your to do list. If you only have time for working out at 6 am, wake up and make it happen.

I promise that this is going to be tough but you will feel much better in the day or afterwards when you have your shape back.

I am always walking at work

This is a tough one. A lot of people consider their work as exercise yet it’s not even close.

Even if you wear an odometer that gives you at least 4 miles of work walking activity, it’s still not exercise that will help you get back in shape.

I never see results despite working out

Nice try, again!

The only reason why you’re not seeing results in your fitness regimen is because you’re not consistent with it or make up for the lost calories with more food.

To get results in your fitness regime, you have to observe your diet and workout effectively.

Oh, and find nice fitness apparel to wear while getting into shape this year. And cut out the excuses.
