Beginning An Exercise Program: Motivation and the Benefits You Will Receive
The first step in an exercise program is developing a desire to become fit. You already have at some desire or you wouldn’t be at the Baaab Fitness website.
People are happier and more settled when they have at least one skill that they do well – one that makes them stand out from others. There are numerous areas of fitness that offer that opportunity. Some include weight-lifting, running, bicycling, and many more.
In weight lifting concentrate on being the best in one area:

- specializing in a particular lift
- having the best abs, chest, back, legs, butt, etc. (pick one)
- having the most improved abs, chest, back, legs, butt, etc.
- learning enough to help others
- learning and teaching exercises to correct specific weaknesses
- learning and teaching which exercises are best to come back from health challenges
Learn and teach which exercises are best for athletes in your favorite sport. The opportunities are numerous. Many were not even mentioned in this list.
Coach a kid’s team – or a recreational group – young or old. Helping others is a great motivator for many. Helping yourself get in shape – in good condition is certainly a good motivator for many.
You could specialize in running, either sprinting, long distance, or something in between.
There are other advantage as well. Exercise improves your appearance in the mirror and to those you want to attract. You are visually attracted to fit people. So are others.
